T E R A R A

A few weeks ago before winter reared its ugly head we went to a beautiful town called Terera which is about 30 minutes from Jervis bay to take some photos for our blog.
Endless grassy paddocks, cute old houses, rotting fences and dirt roads make the perfect setting.
We cant wait to get back out there this spring to take some more snaps in some stunning vintage dresses, crochet and denim.
Thank goodness winter is almost through.

casper&pearl

Once upon a time, there were two best friends growing up together
on the country side. They spent everyday together, playing in
their neighbour’s fields, facing adventures, climbing trees, having
tea parties and whispering secrets. These two little girls never
outgrew their innocence and playful nature. This handmade fashion label
is for any young ladies who never want to grow up. Spend the rest of
your days lying in the garden making daisy chains while you wear
casper&pearl.

This Adelaide based fashion label was created by nineteen year old
designer Stacey Hendrickson in March 2011. Every piece is carefully
handmade using vintage or vintage inspired fabrics, ensuring a
comfortable fit for ladies aged 15-25. c&p began it's journey at the
Gilles Street Markets, selling altered vintage pieces. In just a few
months, c&p has been spotted on international style blogs, including
Inspirafashion and Teen Vogue.

Thats why we are happy to announce we are going to stock there cute little flower headbands and dresses closer to spring of course :)
You can find them on their webite here casper&pearl.
I for one am waiting with baited breath to see what Stacey comes up with.

dream come true

Its finally here, my dream come true. The first ever CLV Store in Huskisson.
We opened our store this Saturday with the unknown expectation of what was to come, luckily it went off without a hitch and everyone was so kind enough to drop in and check it out.
I have never said thank you as many times in one day as i did that day. All the compliments and squeals of delight at the vintage and retro clothing and furniture was comforting and at the same time made my heart feel all fuzzy inside.
With the store only 3/4 full of what we have in mind (seeing that it took 3 weeks to set up shop) I'm on the hunt for some pretty special products that i will be announcing here very soon.
The future is the brightest its ever looked for me and everyone involved.
Thank you to everyone who helped out and put in especially my parents and my beautiful fiance who took time out everynight to get the shop looking the way it is.
Also to my lovely grandma who could be here with us, we opened the store on the 1 year anniversary of your passing... your watching out for us, thank you xx

To follow us on facebook we have created a new Claire Louise Vintage page for our Huskisson store which you can see upto date news and previews about our store. Like us here
